SOURCE: on my 98 buick park ave, i lost power to all my

First off you have three fuse boxes in your car, 1 big one under the hood on the passenger side, next is under the dash on the passenger side, you get to this one by removing the kick plate {plastic cover} you have to look closly as this is the hardest one to find and get at, the third one and the one your probably going to need is the one under the back seat, don't worrie it's easy to remove, all you do is grab hold of the bottom of the seat in the middle and pull up in a quick jolt, the seat is very light and very easy to put back, the fuse box is right there and is black and has a black knob you undo, look inside the lid and you will see a diagram telling you what is what.

Serpatine belt comes off buick park ave. when driving through standing water

My bet is that one of the pulleys is misaligned. Could possibly be on the belt tensioner. Have you tried a new belt tensioner?

Also make sure the other pulleys do not have ANY play in them. Take the belt off and by hand check to see if you can wobble any of the pulleys.

If the shaft of any pulley is not perfectly aligned with the other pulleys, that pulley could cause the belt to slip off. Has the alternator, power steering pump, AC compressor been worked on or removed just prior to this happening? One of those might not have been reinstalled perfectly. A washer that is missing or in the wrong place can cause a belt to drift.

97 Buick Park Ave. Non-Ultra. Mileage 200K. Was squeaking at morning cold start for about 5 to 10 min. Replaced Serpentine Belt, belt tensioner, alternator, and PCV Valve. STILL squeaking at cold start....

How's your engine coolant level? If you've got a water pump leaking coolant, your belt will squeak, as the pump will leak the coolant directly onto the belt. You'll see the spray pattern under the hood if it's been going on for a while.

I have a 1995 Buick Park Ave Ultra. The car has power but will not turn over. I was told by one shop that it might be the V.A.T.S. system and by another that it is the IGNITION CONTROL MODULE.

Make sure the battery cables are clean and tight on the battery. Check to see if the wires to the starter are tight. Try starting it in neutral to make sure the safety switch is being make. Also hold it up into park and try.

1994 buick regal wont start unlless a jump off,and then run good

Check the battery, have a load test done on the battery, now,it could be that the battery terminals, and battery cable ends are corroded, clean them really good, shining clean, this makes a big difference.Good idea to have the alternator checked also, while on the vehicle running, with the head lights on,and high blower motor,it should read at the battery,13.65 volts,to 14.25 volts.

My 1993 want start or turn over buick park ave.

Check the battery connections and the battery itself the battery must be charged and tested, clean the battery terminals charge the battery and try to start, if no luck take the battery to an auto parts store to have it tested for free replace battery if neccessary, always wear safety glasses when working near a battery. If the battery is good and connections are good replace the starter, but you may want to check the connections at the starter first before purchasing a starter there may be corrosion on the connections.

Installing accessory belt on 94 Buick P/Ave ultra.

You must press on tensioner to make room for new belt. The tensioner then re-traps and keep belt tension when new belt in on. So in other words you have to put belt over all othe pulley leaving tensioner for last using a 3/8 ratchet with out a socket (just the square end) in the hole thats in the tensioner pushdown/up to make room for belt to slide on. If the belt seems short make sure that it is routed the correct way. Good Luck get back to me if you need more help and leave me a "rating". Thanks
