First of all you should check your transimision fluid in your gearbox, if the car is automatic, and refill until the proper sign.
Utherwise you should check the clutch if it works properly, maybe you have to adjust the clutches gap.

Please Help!!! Replaced ECM and truck immediately dies

Have checked the idle air control valve. If stuck closed it will not allow air to bypass the throttle therefore it will start and stall.

1990 Pontiac 6000 2.5 after driving, car stalls when put in gear.

You need to replace the TCC solenoid under the side cover pan of the transmission. You can also unplug the wires that go to the transmission in the front. After that it will not go into overdrive but it will stay running at stop lights untill you have it repaired.

Nissan Sentra random stalls and wont start hot

Check out the catalytic converter, might be plugged up. I have seen some cars that will run fine, and like someone threw a switch the car acted like yours, no power, would not rev and died. Later when cold they would be OK for a while then just get worse and worse.

Trans problem

OK this is a very common problem. there is a 4 pin connector on the trans. (just below the air box area sometimes blue or grey)(in a shape of a box) that is your TCC soleniod switch connector. just dissconnect that and see what happens. if your problem stops then you need a TCC solenoid. what that does is it locks up your converter at 40mph+ or HWY speeds to save on gas. another way to test it is when your slowing down and it feels like your driving a stick shift and it wont get out of gear and stalls. if that is what is happing thats your problem. just dissconnect it if you want but i remomend getting it fixed. DO NOT REBUILD TRANS. many trans shops try and pull a rebuild on this.
