2000 ford focus has headlight & starting issues

It was rolled over into a ditch with a couple feet of water in it 2.5 months ago. i did oil change & checked all fluids.it is running good, but sometimes it won't start.also now the headlights only work on high beams,& the wipers sometimes stop working. i replaced the fuel pump thinking that it was the problem.

That vehicle does not have a distributor, it is coil pack.
the wiper deal may be a wiper relay. it is located in the interior
fuse box, but you have to remove the fuse box mounting to access. it.
the relay supplies ground when not actuated.
if you think the fuel pump is going bad, call your local ford dealer. they had a program in place for a while to replace fuel delivery modules for FREE
substitute a known good headlight bulb and make sure the connector is not burnt.

I think that you should check the spark plugs and their wires, and the distributor to. I'm not sure if those will help you but check it out it will only take you 15 minutes more or less.

My 2009 ford focus starts sputtering sometimes while idleing or not moving but on. But doesnt turn off randomly by itself. And it started an afternoon after an oil change about a few months ago. whats...

Tire issue is due to improper camber angle, needs to have a front-end alignment done. The sputtering after an oil change could be due to whoever changed it didn't put the proper grade of oil in. Other possibilities could be bad gas, fuel filter however that doesn't make since seeing how it happened after an oil change. So check to make sure oil level is not overfilled, and the filter is inserted correct.

2000 Ford Focus rolls over but won't start

Hi my name is Tom and I can help.

It looks like you still have an electrical problem. I rarely suggest changing the coil, but this could be the problem. I would also check the wire to the coil. I know you replaced it, but is it fully seated into the coil.

I have had it happen to me many times. I thought it was seated into the coil and I found out it was not.

If I can be of further help, please let me know.

Engine light came on and coolant leak

You don't want to overfill your engine with oil. I'd recomend you change your oil and put the right amount in it, because chances are, if you are that low, it was time for an oil change anyway. As for your coolant leak, check your hoses and radiator, if you don't find anything look your engine block over for antifreeze residue. Usually when your water pump wears out and starts leaking it makes a big mess.

I would have someone plug a OBD II reader in to pull any codes. This will lead you in the right direction.
