You will need to climb back there with a flashlight and look. I believe they are allen bolt, and they auto parts store will sell a kit with 3 of the most used allen bolts drivers in a 3/8" socket set.

Alternative is that the bolts may be torx, in which case, the auto parts store will have those as well.

The nice thing is, the sizes are very common, and the driver kit's normally have the 2-3 sizes that are most common for brake repair.

I use a set of allen type drivers on a 3/8 drive breaker bar or ratchet. Most parts stores sell a set of 5 or 6 sizes.

reinstall caliper sliders and install new pads and caliper
refasten caliper to bracket and your done

if your doing rear disc brakes same as front

How to replace front wheel bearing on 2001 buick lesabre2006 buick lesabre

The bearings on a LeSabre are part of the hub assembly. The hub and bearing will have to be replaced as a unit. To do this you'll need to raise the car, remove the wheel, remove the caliper guide bolts, lift and support the caliper-I use a bent metal clothes hangar to support. Do not loosen the brake line. Slide the brake rotor off the lugs. Disconnect the electrical connector for the antilock brake system. The connector is behind the wheel. Then remove the four bolts holding the hub assembly. The bolts are behind the wheel. Be sure to hold the hub while removing. To install reverse the order. Be sure to check and tighten bolts to specifications when reassembling.

Remove the brake caliper bracket bolts, there should be two of them. Pull the caliper assembly off of the rotor (you may need to depress the caliper piston by prying it inwards). Take the hub to axle nut off, and punch the axle inwards with a punch to loosen it up. Then remove the 3 bolts holding the hub in. One everything is removed, just hit the hub with a hammer until it falls off, clean off the mounting surface, and install the new one in reverse procedure.

How do you get the caliper off of a buick lesabre 1998 custom

If you are removing the complete brake caliper then after removing your tire there are 2 bolts on the back side of the caliper that will have to be removed. You can take a large C-clamp and placing it around the caliper compress your caliper piston a little to ease removal but generally you can still remove it without doing this. Once the bolts are removed take a large screw driver or small pry bar and work your caliper off the rotor. If you are replacing the caliper you would then need to remove the brake line from it. Have your replacement caliper close by and ready to install to minimize the brake fluid you will lose once you remove the hose. After you install the new caliper you will need to bleed your brakes.

What tool do I use to change brake pads

Use proper sized socket to take out 2 bolts holding caliper on. Lift caliper up to remove. Open brake reservoir top and use old pad and large c-clamp to compress cylinder back in fully. Put squeek-stop on back of new pads and install the way you took them off. Remember where the wear bar on the pad was.Little metal tab on pad. Bolt it back on and you should be good to go. Shouldn't have to bleed system.

Changing rear pads on 04 biuck lesaber, can't get but one in.

The rear brake caliper piston doesnt push back, it takes a specail $7 tool from Auto Zone or other part store, the caliper piston screws back into the caliper. pushing it back may damage the caliper, be careful here.
