Most power window problems relate to faulty earth continuity, check that you have power to all the switches. then test the earth circuit. the other thing that goes wrong, the loom to the doors are liable to snap the wires through wear and tear, just bridge across the break.

SOURCE: 2006 Mazda 6 Power windows and Mirrors not working?

Hi, I have the same problem in my car which is a Mercedes c180 which I might have the solution for the problem. I have traced the problem to the window control module which is found under the interior door panel. you would need to do a test to verify it is similar to my problem. Remove the fuses from the fuse box that corresponds with the windows that are faulty for a few seconds, then replace the fuse which should reset the control module. If it is the same problem as mine the windows will work temporary, which I believe is a faulty window control module. Please let me know how you go.

2001 olds aurora, no power to passenger side window modules..plugged them into driverside doors they work.. also tried pass. side window motors on d.s and they work fine, any idea on what wire is power....

If the driver window works, the 30A PWR WDO CB and the 10A DRVMDL fuse in the rear fuse block must be OK. The passenger window gets power from the 10A PASS MDL fuse and that should be checked. The rear windows get power from the 10A RRDR MDL fuse and that, too, should be checked. The same circuit breaker and fuses protect the door locks so replacement of the burned out fuses should clear up your problem

CHECH TO SEE IF YOU HAVE FUSES UNDER THE HOOD, COULD BE A RELAY.BUT IF ALL THE REST WORK THE DRIVER SIDE PANNEL COULD BE BAD.KEEP YOUR WINDOWS UP WHEN IT IS RAINING,TAKE A TEST LIGHT AND SEE IF THE PANNEL IS GETTING POWER

Driver side power window doesnt work

Its possible, check underhood fuse box, the position 6, 60AMP for Power Windows

Other details can find in the Ford-Explorer-Owners-Manual (page 187 and next)

If the fuse is OK, take off the trim panel to check the windows motor, windows switch and wires.

Hope helps (remember rated this).

Power windows don't work

the owners manual will give you a layout of the fuse box but in case you dont have it just start by pullingg fuses and looking at them you can see if their blowen, if there all ok then check for a dirty switch,or even getting power too it,
i dout if both motors would go bad at the same time
