The last time that this Happened on my 95' Silverado, I had a Crack in the Housing. You might check it out. Clean the Rearend Very well and you should see Exactly where it is Coming From Let me Know! Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help That I can Get! Thanks!

You have to define where the oil is coming from. front of the engine, rear of the engine left side right side where? If it is the rare you're most likely looking at the rear main seal. The next most likely culprit would be valve cover gasket's or oil pan gasket
The Chrysler minivan products all had leaking problems. I have had 5 or 6 different Dodge or Plymouth minivans from 88 to 99. How bad is it. The most common thing is Valve cover leaks. Front and rear seals in the engine leak as well as the oil pan gasket. If its leaking a little bit at a time open the hood and look at the front and rear of the engine. Do you see grease and oil that has gone down the sides of the engine? Do you see a lot of grease on the engine with some clean streaks going through it. You may be able to see where its leaking from. If you know someone that knows what their doing have them change the leaky gasket/s. If not you can probably have it repaired for less than buying another van unless other things are seriously wrong with the van.

the manifold gaskets role in an oil leak? oil under the car i would be thinking about a front or rear crankshaft seal or the oil pan, or the oil pressure sender unit. if there is oil on the sides of the engine i would look to the valve cover gaskets.
look underneath the car. you will see the oil pan and another pan on the drivers side. take all the bolts out of that pan. NOT THE OIL PAN. and drain the fluid. remove all the old gasket material. change the filter. it will be obvious. and reinstall. be careful not to over tighten the bolts on the pan you will split the gasket and it will leak like a siv.
do you have a 3.1L V6? The timing cover gasket seals the timing components, it is located behind the belt drive system (alt, a/c, p/s etc.) all of these components must be removed to change this gasket, also the oil pan lower seal gets changed at the same time. The oil pan gasket includes the rear pan seal and the side seals and on for the rear of the pan, the engine must be lifted out of it mounts to change this gasket. It takes time to do these repairs and each shop has an hourly rate per hour on labor. The cost of the parts will be relatively the same at any shop, labor will differ. Is the rearend blown into peices? if yes replace the whole thing. If not put it in reverse and have someone look to see if the rear driveshaft is spinning. If it is you more than likely need a ring and pinion set in the rearend. If it doesn't spin the problem is in your transmission not the rearend.
well i had the same problem everyone told me the clutches in the rearend were sticking making it stick in positive traction (only your passanger side rear wheel pulls unless you start spinning then a type of clutch engages the other side so you have traction then when you stop spinning it disengages it should never be engaged if your on pavment) now you can do what i did listen to everyone when they tell you its normal or you can take it to someone with experience now and save yourself some money cause it will start popping then it will get some viberation then next it will break the clutches and when that happens you will have to replace the pinion,ring,and the spider gears as well as the clutches.make sure you have pleanty oil in rearend if you dont add the limited slip conditioner it might free clutches up but if i had it to do over id put it in the shop or stop driving it before i broke something hope this helped
your valve cover gasket may have blown. This can happen if you overfill above the required dipstick level. take off the valve cover and check the gasket. Better to be under the level than over. The oil preassure will try to blow from where ever there is a weak gasket.
While under your vehicle, sometimes on the top or your rear end, there is an opening that allows air to enter and exit when pressure builds up. Other models have a hose that connects to some part of the rear end, just follow this hose to its end and make sure its not clogged or pinched.
