SOURCE: air conditioning blowing hot on 2002 buick lesabre ltd

Could be a number of possibilities. However, the most likely is loss of freon. The O-ring seals at a number of line connections tend to leak over time. There are other mechanical and electrical possibilities but you should first have someone check the freon charge with a set of gauges to measure the pressures. It might cost you a bit to have it tested but the pressure reading will tell you a LOT of things. In the long run it will save you money over guess-work.

The heater core may be stopped up. Try to back flush it with a water hose.

Where is heater actuator located in a 2006 Buick lacrosse its dual settings pass and driver side blow cold air with heater on..new thermastat and coolant levels ate good..both heater core hoses dont get...

There's a valve on the heater hose that needs to open to let hot water into the heater core. Trace heater hose until you find this valve and check to see if it opens. If that works then you might have an air pocket in the system find the little bleeder stem d open it to let the air out. Car on, thermostat open, full radiator. Close stem when you see a steady flow of water coming out. Good luck

Might have a bad actuator, which open the access port for warm coolant to enter the heater core.

2006 buick lacrosse heater is not working

I strongly recommend you take it back to the dealer and ask for help.
If it is something they damaged, and you have another shop repair it, the dealer is then off the hook for responsibility.
The problem could be a blend door under the dash, or the heater core may not be getting proper coolant flow.

Replacing blend door actuator for 2005 buick lasabre

2008 Lacrosse

Condition: no heat.

Diag: Hot In and Out hoses radiator, hot in and out to Core which means fluid good and thermostat opening. Bled air out of thermostat.

Fix: while listening for click of BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR (Electric CONTROLS) I manual set temp cold to hot back and forth. HEAT now.

Reason: COVID from sitting almost two years due to not needing three cars commute (WFH) since COVID.
Guess they got stuck from sitting there. I kept telling everyone to "exercise" their cars every week or so by driving and not just starting them.

The fan works, air conditioning works, but the air wont heat up(knob turns to hot on thermostat). is it a vacuum hose problem, and how do we get to it?

The most common cause of this in the Ranger and the Explorer is that a part called the air temeperature control blend door acuator or the blend door shaft that the electric actuator moves has broken, this door is what shuttles between the heater core and the AC core and provides either heated or cooled air, or a blend of the two hot and cold air streams.

yes it is called the blend door, you either have a sticking blend door or the actuator motor for the door is defective and does not completely shut off the heater core. The pass side has it's own blend door.
