Re: best fuel injector cleaner
I use Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant and Injector Cleaner. Comes in a 5.25 fl oz bottle for about $5.99. Best product I hae ever found. I buy mine at Autozone, but most major auto part stores carry it.

I'm not familiar with Chevy's but a similar problem over the pond that is quite common is the EGR valve clogging up.
Not sure if this is relevant to a 2001 model but worth checking out.
Electricial cleaner is the best to use I have found.
hope this is of some help.
If it blinks and goes away, it is a "random misfire" that culminates before the light begins blinking. Sustained misfiring will result in a code, and the light staying on. If the light blinks and goes away, the issue is intermittent. Your problem usually occurs under acceleration or heavy load. The issue can often be solved with new spark plugs, though it could also be dirty injectors. The injectors on that vehicle are infamous, however I have been able to fix your problem with repeated use of highly concentrated fuel system cleaner. I use at least 3 times the recommended concentration of whatever cleaner. People rave about Sea Foam. I have used it and it works -- though I can't say whether it worked better than other brands I have used. I have owned 3 Blazers and 2 S-10's, including my current 2001 Blazer LT.
Have you ever put in the gasoline tank any injector cleaner yet because the cleaner will unclog the injectors so full amounts of gasoline can get into the piston chambers the right amounts so try putting injector cleaner into your gas tank. When you put this into the gas tank to remember that it takes time for the cleaner to get to the injectors so you might have to keep trying to start the vehicle many times for the cleaner to unclog the injectors. This will not hurt your vehicle at all so go try this.
leaky injector/s is flooding motor, mechanically clean or replace. And clean throttle body while you are at it with spray cleaner. Should be almost spotless where large throttle valve opens and closes.
have you tried cleaning your fuel injectors? There is a cleaner that you put into the vaccum line that comes from the brake booster to the intake (so it feeds all the injectors all at once) it is called SeaFoam it runs about $8.50 a can. The directions are on the can.
