Question about 1995 Ford Windstar
I don't believe that your regulator has cables as the earlier post mentioned. It sounds like it may be a switch problem. Try banging on the door jamb while pushing on the switch. That may trigger it into working. This probably wont last though. It's most likely either the switch or the motor.

Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.
