Having heating problems with my 2000 lincoln ls


More than likely you need a heater valve. It is located in the engine compartment pass side front underneath upper radiator hose. Do you have a service park brake light as well?? If so it is related.

try this trun key on for 10 to 20 min.s do not try and start it just trun it on. after waiting then trun key off and try to start. this should reset your system.

I have a 2004 sierra 2500 slt and my drives side heated seat truns on andoff by its self


I'm not being funny here but mine seemed to do that almost every time that I touched the power window button and then I realized that I was touching the heat button too without realizing it

Smell like somthing is burning


antifreeze smell ,put a rad weld in the rad and if its not too bad that should cure it,also the windscreen mists up ?? as well.Either that or a dead mouse ,found a fish in heater once as well ,somebody got married??

CHECK THE FUSIBLE LINK THAT COMES OFF THE STARTER POST.THEY LOOK JUST LIKE A WIRE, BUT THEY GET STRECHY WHEN THERE'RE BLOWN.IF THIS IS THE CASE YOU WILL NEED TO FIND THE CIRCUT THAT CAUSED IT TO BLOW,AND REPLACE THE LINK.

Overheating


Electrical cooling fans not coming on due to bad sensor, fan relay, or bad fans. Check thermostat and coolant temperature, too....accordianman
