Rincon. Why is there grinding noise in rear end and rear wheels will not drive?

Could be bad u-joints, wheel bearings. Raise rear of vehicle and rotate wheel by hand, if noisy remove and replace. Hope that helps.

What is the size of a king ranch f150 2002 ford rear axle housing and it is a double cabin

There are 3 different sizes of axles available.(8.8")(9.75")(10.25") Most 2wd are 8.8" but you can get them in a 9.75". Most 4wd are 9.75" although it is possible to get it in a 8.8". And usually the 10.25" is reserved for 7700 series trucks. This is only a rough guideline as vehicles could be ordered with different options or the axle may have been swapped out. If it has 7 bolt rims then it is definitely a 10.25" and if it has 5 bolt rims its either an 8.8" or a 9.75". The easiest way to tell would be to check the axle tag. It should be bolted right on the rear axle housing. This will give you all of the information of the axle(size/ratio). If not you can give your local Ford dealer a call with the VIN# and if their friendly they will tell you.

Where is the rear motor mount located on a 93 grand voyager

If your problem is rumbling drive axles , stop buying after market rebuilt axles. Forget the lifetime warranty. Buy only new Chrysler or Chrysler rebuilt axles for your car . After replacing my motor mounts and a dozen axles the manufacturer axles were the only ones that worked. I recall a motor mount at each end of the motor and one in the front (same vehicle). Checking my manual they do not show a rear mount on any of the motor sizes.

83 cj7 rear axle

You could weld the keyway and file it back to size or replace axle. To upgrade, check with some of the big axle manufacturers like strange engineering etc. They could likely help or point you in the right direction. Anything you do will be $$ though.

Bird Rear-end Size

Hi meduck4,heres what you need brother as I cant see your diff, 3 ways to tell what you have:
#1 The first is the driver's door tag; there will be a one-letter or one-numeral axle code listed there. You can then compare it to the chart below: CODE Rear Axle Ratio Conventional Locking 8 M 2.73 Y Z 3.08 F R 3.45 5 E 3.27 6 W 3.73
#2 The second is the axle tag, attached to the lower lefthand bolt on the rear axle itself. The bottom left line will give you the gear ratio, and the type of rear end (S for limited slip non-locking, and L for locking).

#3 The 7.5" rear axle height is shorter than the width and the shape appears "oval".
The 8.8" rear axle
dimensions are equal and the shape appears "round".

This will tell you what you have my friend, good luck

Rear hubs

In the center of the hub is the axle retaining bolts, 8 I think, remove them and pull the axle out, under that is a giant nut that retains the hub, it requires a quite expensive special tool to remove and re-install correctly, that huge nut retains the entire hub/brake drum assembly. Replace th grease seal and check the axle bearing while you have it apart.
