2001 PT CRUISER MISFIRE CYLINDER 2

Do you know how check the engine codes? Turn the key 3 times and the codes will be displayed where the odometer number is displayed.
If the code is 302 it is spark plug mis fire.
It could be a bad fuel injector.

What do I need for a tune up on my 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Like most vehicles of today, they do not have distibutors. All you will need are spark plugs and wires.
Most cars these days do not need a tune up untill 100,000 miles.

Spark plugs

you must take off the in-take housing top of engine ( plastic) 5bolts,take off bolts at throttle body3bolts,take off all hoses in rear of plastic throttle body 2 bolts, take your time not to brake plastic hoses in rear, and make sure you have gaskets inside of plastic intake once you take off. Pull intake off slow, and the spark plugs and wires are seen. You need a spark plug wrench to take out spk plugs, do one at a time. Replacement is the reverse........runjoe
