Question about 2003 Pontiac Grand Am

2 Answers

My engine has a nosie that sounds like rocks moving in it.

I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand AM GT with 93,000 miles V6 3.4 liter engine. I have had so many problems out of this car. Right now I am just wondering what could be this nosie be in the engine also it is not driveable because when I try to drive it the car would not want to go and it would cut off before I could get out of a parking spot. And the check engine light is on. Please help me.

I was told that my pistones (i think I spelled that right, the parts that pumps the oil into the engine) sound like they were the things making the nosies but how can they come out of the holes they are mounted in?

Check your fuel filter, clogging causes a lean condition in the pressurized fuel system, results in "pinging"  on acceleration, a serious lack of power, or cutting out, also code showing a "lean bank" condition could be present!

Is it possible to put a supercharger on a 2003 pontiac grand prix Gt 3.8 liter series II

It is possible, but requires many penny! You will be further ahead by selling the present car and purchasing one that was factory set-up for turbo boost. Tuning beyond stock requires expert knowledge with components that are precisely engineered for the job. Nitrous injection is effective, but can be disastrous for the engine if not done right. Good luck!
