SOURCE: ford f450 6.4-high pressure fuel pump failure

I would like to clarify, and somewhat solve this issue. First of all the dealer is right about the regen. If the truck is going into regen and did not finish, then it will do the regen again and again and this excessive regen will cause fuel in the oil. Unfortunatly Ford did not add a parked Regen switch (too complicated for some users) so you will have to drive untill the regen light goes out. I know it's inconventant but that's part of the hassel you need to go through because Al Gore invented the internet and then warned us all about global warming. Anyway there are some other causes including porous cylander heads (this will show up in low mileage vehicles only), HP Fuel pumps, fuel sensors, injectors, lines, etc. etc. Since you both seem to have low mileage ask the Ford Dealer about the porous cyl heads and watch his face go blank. Is smoke comes out of his ears make sure his DPF isn't clogged and ask him if he needs to Regen. then tell him he has to run 30 mintues weither he likes it or not or he will get fuel in his oil. By the way you may also need to ask about an updated ECM reflash which could help this issue. Have a nice day.

SOURCE: how it reset service engine light

Is it the "oil change req." light? Your owners manual will have the process for reseting the oil change light.
If it is "service engine soon" light, the vehicle will need to be scanned with a professional scanner.

SOURCE: Ford Mondeo Mk3 Estate 2L. Air bag / seat belt Warning Light

Common fault on FORD
Usually due to a poor connection in the YELLOW PLASTIC CONNECTOR underneath the passenger seat.

Just push it together properly and it should clear the AirBag fault

SOURCE: what oil should i use for ford mondeo turbo diesel

5 litres of Ford SAE 5w -30w (Formula E ) ...available from Ford (or sometimes a lot cheaper off Ebay).

If you try and use anything else,( eg 10w-30 etc)  then the turbo does not like it and the running becomes slightly sluggish

Hi, twice our 2011 ford mondeo diesel has been to two different ford dealerships and both times they have carried out perticular burn offs for a blocked particular filter. This has happened in a 3 month...

That is a question you need to ask the dealer. The cause could be you have a rich fuel condition, this causes high carbon particulates and this clogs the filter. If the engine is running correctly then a filter might fix the issue. But I warn you it is big bucks (American slang for allot of money) for this part and the install has to be down by the dealer.

Engien oil sending unit were on jaguarxtype02 engine

This a basically a ford mondeo.
really need to know if its a petrol or a diesel.
if you have an oil light coming up, have you checked oil levels?
The pressure switch would be in the main oil gallery or very near the oil filter housing.
These cars have been known to have isdues if they run low on oil so be warned.
I you have a chance, get your car scanned for any fault codes by your local garage.....sometimes it may clear an old fault in the memory.
cheers

Hi i have a 97 ford mondeo 1.8td and it feels very under powered and i cant feel the turbo cut in atall but can hear it whistle on changing gear.can you help please?

I had a similar problem in my Mondeo 1.8 TD a few years ago and this was cured by changing the engine oil and filter to the correct type.

I had used the special Duckhams 10w-40w Turbo Diesel (or was it 15w-40w?)  oil but once I changed it to the correct Ford 5w-30w (Formula-E ) ordinary oil, the turbo worked a treat every time.( I understand now that there is an even "thinner" option that works even better so worth checking ....Something like a 1w-30w )

A strange answer I know, but true

The only reason I used the Duckhams was because the chap in Halfords said it was the best one for a Turbo Diesel
