the two bolts that hold the sensor are torqued to 18 inch pounds. other than that it's self adjusted through the ecm

Find where the throttle cable goes the the throttle body. Now on the opposite side of the throttle body is the TPS 3 wires/plug.

Chevrolet Tahoe vehicles may experience a performance issue where they will not go over 15MPH. The vehicle may appear to be in "limp-in" mode, giving just enough power to get you to a shop. over-hood-250x300.gifThe codes indicate a problem with the throttle position sensor circuits and throttle actuator performance. Do NOT start replacing parts. Shops report a pattern failure in the electrical harness to these sensors. Chevrolet has issued a revised replacement harness to correct the problem. The original connector was prone to vibration and broken wires that disrupted the signal to the PCM and put the vehicle into reduced power mode.

Tire pressure monitor on my 2008 chevy van not working how or where is fuse for monitoring system?


Sensors are rf transmiters and the door lock module is the reciever this information is the sent to the body control module and then to the display on dash. Is only tire pressure monitor having a problem?

2006 chevy express 2500 van with 4.8L idles really low, when you floor it it bogs down, after you let off the gas it dies, replaced the fuel pump already


Clean the throttle body with throttle body cleaner and make sure the air filter is not dirty or plugged.Also clean the mas air flow sensor with mass air flow sensor cleaner.Give this a try and let me know if it took care of your problems.Hope this helps.Good luck.

You have to remove the upper applique to remove the tail lamp, it is the trim panel above the lamp. I think it is held in place by two nuts/bolts but not sure. You have to have the rear doors open to remove it

I have a code for a MAP sensor current low on my 2001 chevy express van with the 5.7L engine. Do I have to remove the doghouse and where is the sensor located? Thanks


Depending on the engine it is located in the intake manifold near the throttle body. The computer uses data from this sensor to calculate the air / fuel mix. It will be connected to the main wire harness with a slealed connector, usually two or three wires. Allow the computer to recalculate for a few miles......
