Fuse 4 does the cigarette light and the side mirrors. Do the mirrors work?

Fuse 6 does tail lights

Fuse 14 does the Dash Lights
14 10A Interior lighting and luggage. compartments, clock, radio or radio tape recorder, instrument cluster, central door lock control unit, engine control unit, automatic transmission control unit
If all those fuses are okay, you need a good auto-electrician.

there is no idle screw, idle is controlled by the ecm via the ias(idle air control)

I would check your wires make sure, its more common than not, but it could also be the engine control module as well. and unless the distributor was new could also be a bad module inside the distributor.

It has to be done with a scanner. Like the ones garages have, unless someone you know ownes one, as they are pricey!! Unhooking the battery will NOT clear codes.

This indicates that a part of the EVAP control system is no longer fuctioning correctly. The EVAP system consists of many parts, including (but not limited to) the gas cap, fuel lines, carbon canister, purge valve, and other hoses. Try changing the gas cap first then check the rubber hoses that are visble on top of the engine. Vote "Yes" for me!

I dont know about the mirage but 9 out of 10 cars all you have to do is unplug your battery for at least 5-15 minutes and then re plug in and start car. your check engine light/ecu should be reset now. Good Luck and God Bless. Hope this helps. Take care. 16

I have a 1999 Mirage 1.5 - with 225thou miles on it - my light stay's on too- I was told it was an O2 senser- but I noticed that the spark plugs come loose alot. When I tighten them and have my light reset it stays off till I need to adjsut them again-?
