Question about Cars & Trucks

Open Question

I have a Twin Star Fireplace model 23EF003GRA. I know I need a new fuse for it, but I can't find where the fuse is located. And I don't know what replacement fuse to buy. I know this is the problem because the same thing happened 2 years ago and my boyfriend fixed it. He's gone and so are the extra fuses I bought. Can anyone help?

The fuse is located on the left side of the circuit board in the back of your fireplace. Pull the fireplace out so you can access the backside of it. UNPLUG IT before you go any further!!! Once you have unplugged it and pulled it out, exposing the back, you'll see two brackets on either side of the insert. These are what holds the center insert (the metal box containing the fake logs, the lights and the heater motor/blower. Remove the two screws on each bracket and the insert will pull out of the wooden enclosure. Next, you want to take the top off of the insert. There are 3 screws in the top (as you look down on it) and 2 screws on either side holding the sheet metal top on the insert. When you remove these 7 screws, the top will slide back and come out. Look down on the circuit board and you will see a barrel-type fuse on the left side of the circuit board. Pull the bad fuse and buy a replacement. Replace with a good fuse and put the top back on the insert, replace the 2 brackets holding the insert in place, and plug it in and try it. No sense in taking the time to put the unit back in place if the fuse didn't do the trick! Enjoy!

SOURCE: location of blower motor fuse

Fuse blower motor is not in the fuse box. It is located outside. lOpen the hood, on the driver side near the fender, about 1 feet from the fuse box toward the direction of the radiator, there is a retangular about 1x2 in with wire coming out from each end. Snap it open, inside is the the wire fuse.

{: ) At the underhood fuseblock, the AUX PWR fuse 20amps is for the Instrument panel and center console outlets, while the RR APO fuse 20amps is for the rear console and rear power outlets.
If your vehicle is equipped with an accessory 110vac, there is this PWR OUTLET fuse 25amps also at the underhood fuseblock. See red arrows on the sample diagram below:

I have a 2003 mitsubishi lancer. Everytime I try to turn my key from the ignition to start my car my fuse 4 (40A) blows up I replaced it twice but the new fuse just keeps blowing up:/ what's going on?...

There is a major electrical fault that keeps blowing the fuse. The fuse protects that part of the electrical circuit, 40 amps is heavy electrical circuit, it it wasn't protected by a fuse it car could catch on fire.
You need to get an auto electrician or your Mitsubishi service center to locate the fault and repair.
If you had a wiring diagram for your car then you can trace the wiring from the 40A fuse to the various components to locate the wiring fault or component fault.

1992 gmc sonoma fuse box diagram with location of fuses

On my 1992 GMC V-6 Sonoma the fuse panel is located under the left end of the dash board. Fairly close to the foot operated parking brake. There is a small panal covering it, that needs to be unscrewed to be able to see it. Most fuses are identified as to what they are protecting.
The best way to service these fuses is by opening the truck door, with your knees on the ground-- or by laying on your back on the seat with your head in the floor near the parking brake. The truck also has a few inline fuses on wire running directly to the item being protected. If you don't see a fuse in the fuse block for what is not working, find the wire under the hood going directly to the accessory. In-line fuses sometimes look like bulges in the wire, under tape., or they can be straight forward and look like plugs, with a fuse inside. When replacing fuses, use the same size - don't increase the amps, or You'll burn up what you are trying to protect with the fuse.I bought my 92' ,new, when it came out. Mine is the V-6 model. Other versions of the 92, may have different locations for fuses.

All fuses taken from passenger compartment fuse box. need to replace them. don't know voltage or location,or what for it is used.

I'm not sure what the Make/Model of your vehicle is, I would suggest trying https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp to download the owners manual if you do not have one. it will have a fuse panel diagram you can use to replace the missing fuses. Hope this helps =)

There is a failure in the circuit of the heated oxygen sensor-bank 1 sensor 2. I don't know how to check the fuse since I don't know where it is located.

If you're getting a code for a heated oxygen sensor circuit problem, replace the sensor. I don't think I've ever seen a fuse be the problem. Bank 1 is located at the back of the engine compartment, close to the firewall. Sensor 2 is the sensor after the catalytic converter.

Need to find location of rear window fuse for 2004 escalade

Trying to help but on your vehicle the circuits are for the right or the left side as far as I know. I do have owners manual for your vehicle with fuse diagrams as well as descriptions for each fuse if that would help you and you could look for yourself. Just email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. Don't worry no cost to you. I will need to know if you have the EXT model or the ESV model in order to send you the correct manual. Wish I could be more help but I'm not exactly sure of what you need but sure the owners manual will help you locate the fuse you are looking for.

2010 ford f150 fuce location

When you say fuse location I wasn't sure if you were asking where the fuse box is or what each fuse went to. I gave you both location of where the fuse boxes are as well as a layout and description of what each fuse went to. This should be in your owners manual and guess since it's a 2010 you might have one but gave you the information just in case as well as for both panels. If you don't have an owners manual and would like a copy, you can email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. Don't worry there's no cost for it. I hope this is what you are needing and hope it helps. good luck.

Need to know fuse location for ac on 2000 ford expedition

This is kind of an open question because I don't know if your fan (blower motor) is not coming on or if the fan is working and it's just not cold which means the A/C compressor clutch isn't engaging. I am giving you the most common and that is the compressor. In your power distribution box located in the engine compartment (see picture of location below) is the A/C cltch fuse and the A/C cltuch relay itself. The A/C clutch fuse is located in the number 13 position and should be a 15 amp fuse (see other picture below for layout of fuse panel). then in that same box in the number 204 position is the A/C clutch relay itself. If it's the fan not blowing there are many possible fuses for it and like I said i wasn't sure what you meant by A/C fuse. All of this should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't and would like a copy, you can email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. Or if you just want to know where those other fuses for the fan are you acn email me as well. I hope this helps and good luck.

I need to know which fuse for a 2002 ford tauras for the heater or blower

There are 2 places that you can look at. In the fuse panel located inside the vehicle in the number 3 position (see picture below) is the fuse for the blower motor relay coil & in the number 3 position is the blower motor relay itself. This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't have one and need a copy, you can email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with your make, model, year and what you need and I will be happy to email you a copy. don't worry no cost to you. Anyway, I hope this helps and good luck.
