All of sudden loss of power lifter knock

If the lifters are knocking that means they aren't getting oil. Check the oil level in the motor. If the oil is full and the oil pump is working as indicated by not getting an oil light, you might have a blockage in the internal oil passages that are blocking oil to the cam. This will cause the cam to wear very quickly and your motor will run hotter and lose power.

350 Chevy knock might be a blown rod or a lifter stuck

Knocks in the engine can be defined by the frequency that it happens . If it is a cam follower it would be a constant knock and there would be more than one as if the cam follower or cam lobes are failing . A heavy knock can be a big end or a main bearing failing. Remove the plug wire and if it is a big end the sound will be a lot less as there is no combustion pressure pushing down on the crank pin. When you have got the rod you think it is then remove the plug as well and there will be virtually no noise when running. If the oil pressure is good at idle then the noise may be a broken ring or cracked piston. All produce a knock in an engine A stuck lifter should be holding open a valve so you will have a miss as well as the knock.

That would be a complete guess, pull the valve cover and check. Sounds like a bad cam follower to me.

When motor is running it making a loud tapping noise in the cam and motor has kicked back a few times when starting it and i think cam belt is a bit loose

Either tighten the cam belt to the correct tension or replace it if the belt is the problem. However another problem could be that the valve gaps need checking. you would do this by removing the rocker cover and checking the valve gaps when each valve is fully OPEN , you would use feeler guages and you would find the correct valve clearance by referring to the handbook for the vehicle adjust accordingly if needed.

Have a 2005 for f-150 started with ticking, knocking noise with no power. they changed the spark plugs did not help the truck is at Bickford Motor in Snohomish wash. they think it is the cam. do you have...

The ticking would be a bad valve lifter, bent or broken push rod
As far as the knocking, could be:
cam bearing, or cam
crank bearing
rod bearing
Might even be the knock sensor.

Eninge knock with a known cam gear problems.

i had the same problem. had a knocking on the engine and let the vehicle sit until i had time to look for the problem. my unknowing mom took the car without permission and the car broke down on her. as it would turn out the upper timing guide rail broke off and damaged the cam gears and broke the upper timing chain along with damaging both the right and left lower chain guides, and the tensioner was also damaged. i would recommend that u inspect the lower chain to make sure that everything is good.
