Question about 2000 Dodge Caravan
Unable to turn key in ignition
Had this happen to me. A can of wd 40 and paper towels, Dirt was the problem with the lock assembly. Squirt the wd 40 into the lock cylinder and insert the key, repeat until it works. ( this trick was from the dealer)

sounds like you need a new ignition cylinder. normally when this happens you can tap on the bottom of the column where the cylinder goes into it with a hammer while jiggling the key should un stick it temporarily

The tumblers in the lock cylinder are stuck and this prevents the key from turning. Spray some lubricant into the cylinder, insert the key in and out numerous times and also hit the end of the key with a rubber hammer while it is in the cylinder and this will help to release the tumblers.
