2006 Accord radio display states "code"

My radio display states "code". I bought the car used in Feb. 2011 and it did not come with a code card. The serial # is 12222731. How can I clear the code?

If its the original radio to the car your Honda dealer will be able to get it de-coded or give you the original code with proof of ownership For a small fee or maybe free of charge

SOURCE: bought a used 1995 Honda Accord, and need to reset

the start points for entering the radio code are either when the radio says code or displays an error 1, 2 or such. once you enter the code it should beep once and turn on. It sounds like you are following the procedure though. Is it possible the audio unit was damaged?

SOURCE: resetting the navi and radio codes 2006 accord

The Owners Manual walks you through it step by step.

If your missing the manual, swing by your Dealerships Service Drive, most Service Advisors would be happy to show you how to do it.

You can also order a new Owners Book at www.helminc.com directly, even have it mailed to your home. If you order it at the dealership, they get it from the same place, mark it up and you have to go get it yourself.

What is the radio code for 2011 honda accord

The code should be listed in your owners manual. If you do not have the manual. You can go to a Honda dealership, present your title of other documentation proving ownership of the car. They can then look up the code for you.

'03 Honda Accord won't recognize CD player after battery replaced

I have a crv also. the audio system has an anti-theft mechanism, to deter thieves from stealing your cd player/radio. you need a code to turn your unit back on, usually a four or five digit code, that should have been provided when you bought the vehicle. If you don't have it, the unit will come back on after, and only after a full, uninterupted hour of driving.

How to retrieve a radio code for a 1998 Honda Accord without having to take out the radio. Dealership wants $80 to get this.

Hold down the 1 and 6 buttons on the radio and turn it on. That will cause it to display an 8 digit code. Call this code to the parts department of your local Honda dealer and they should give you the code.(Hopefully) Keith
