Check the two hoses going to the heater core.
They will be in the engine compartment on the passenger side fire wall.
Touch both hoses. There should be only about 15 deg. difference between the two of them
If one is hot and the other is cool then the heater core has failed and needs to be replaced.

cuts out or wont start?Both need the little plate with some little electronic divice mounted to it ....Its that simple Its the hard to figuureeasy to fix divice!

Check for spark. If there is none take a peak at your work. The crank sensor is in that area and it is possible you damaged it when you replaced the water pump. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

does the engine sound funny like turning over fast if it is the timing belt might have broke otherwise it could be the ignition module!
