You have to crawl in the back remove the panels and find the actuator(s), when you find them check for any linkages the may have fallen off. Gm uses little clips that get brittle and break. if it is a clip reinstall rod with a new clip or reinstal rod and secure with mechanics wire.

If the actuator is broken you can hook up a volt meter to the pin outs and test for power by hitting the door lock unlock button. If there's power then chamces are that the actuator is faulty. if theres no power check ground connections fuses relays and re test. good luck

How to change rear climate control blower in a 2013 acadia

Contact the dealer for the location of the blower motor and then roll up your sleeves and get to work!

Before you take out the motor you might want to verify that it is receiving power. If not receiving power the motor could be good and the problem could be with the wiring - no need to replace a motor that is still good!!!!!!

How do I change the rear hatch actuator in a 2007 GMC Acadia

You pull the panel out at the back and you will see the actuator, you basically unplug and take the screws that hold it on and reinstall same way. I would test the circuit to make sure the module is your problem and not a bad ground or power supply. Good luck
