Was working fine before it happened
Usually one of the wires on top of the fuel tank has rusted off. Mine i had to drop the tank and clean contacts and wires up and re connect.

I have a chevy cav 03 and my problem is just in the gas guage and temp guage now i cant seem to figure out how to fix it but for a quick fix i have jut been pulling out the instrument panel fuse and putting it back in it seems to fix t

you need a new fuel sending unit. it is in the gas tank. you have to remove the tank and fuel pump assy. not an easy job. if you do it yourself $300 with new pump and sending unit. a dealer will be $1200, we just did our 2001 suburban
