SOURCE: 2004 Jaguar XJ8 AC

first i would try checking relays, fuses, and the ground cables. replace as neccesary....now for checking the ground cables.....i would disconnect them and try scuffing them up with a wirebrush or something that will scuff up the metal a little bit then re-attach them.....test the blower and see if it works.....let me know what happened.

SOURCE: I have a jaguar xj8 and the gear got stuck in park.

Most likely the lock out switch at the brake pedal is at fault, because in order to put it in in to any gear you have to step on the brake first ! Their is a switch located which prevents you put it in gear with out stepping on the brake pedal, so check this switch first.

SOURCE: AC BLOWER NOT BLOWING

The resistor that controls the blower motor. it is a small gadget that has a 2 or 3 wire plug . Replacing the resistor should fix your problem. It is on or near the blower motor. Under the dash. Not easy to remove . But it can be. Please give thumbs up if helped.

2004 Nissan frontier. Bypass hose replaced by a mechanic that had to remove the intake plenum. Now the check engine light is on. EGR is not getting vacuum. Brake booster looses vacuum when off.

It sounds like a vacuum leak either at the intake plenum or intake manifold, or egr valve. You might check all the vacuum lines to be sure they are all connected. But if it was not doing that before the mechanic worked on it I would take it back to him and say fix it. The check engine light is on because there is a vacuum leak and it's causing the egr valve and booster to not function properly.

2004 Jaguar X-Type V6 30. AWD fuel pressure problems, codes P0174 P0171 right? if so is there an easy way to self fix this ?

my friend you have a upper intake hose leak which is causing these codes...go under the hood..remove the oil filler cap.then take a phillips head screw driver and take off the engine cover..then you will see a hose about 14 inches long running across the top of the engine connecting to the valve covers and the upper intake plenum...it pulls right off and they usually crack under the belly side...this hose is about 12 to 15 bucks, just take it up until you get a new one. ..the car is running lean, meaning too much air getting into the engine whcih will cause it to sputter and skip and cause the oxygen sensors to overheat...so yes you can fix it yourself.....let me know if it works...but you should hear a hissing sound from the engine from the air vacuum leak...keep me posted...secure the leak, and clear the codes and u will be fine...

You might need a lube job or you may need to see if noise is coming from another place such as your engine water pump, brakes, power steering. Look for leaks.

Pretty Difficult you have to remove the complete intake and injector rail. You will need both side intake gaskets and the plenum gasket.
