SOURCE: whining coming from washer fluid reservoir area, engine is off?

A whining noise in that area is most likely the power steering pump. Does it do it with the engine running or when the engine is off?

SOURCE: Location of O2 Sensors on 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 ?

Follow your exhaust manifold down from engine to exhaust pipes etc, you should see them sticking out, 3"-4" approx.length, with wires coming from them. Some are right on manifold, some further down on exhaust pipes.

What is the meaning of low wash signal?

This is to let you know that your washer fluid level is low. There is a sensor located on the washer fluid reservoir to indicate when low or empty. If you are like me and live in the north, having de-icer in the reservoir is a must during the winter and it is nice to get a reminder when you get low.

What does "low wash" mean on a 2007 dodge ram?

This indicates that your windshield washer fluid level is low. It's like the low fuel light, it gives you times to get some before you run out. If you check the washer fluid level and it is not low then the sensor is faulty.

best wishes

You can use any windshield washer fluid. I highly recommend Rain-X Bug Remover Windshield Washer Fluid. It works just as advertised and keeps bugs from sticking to the windshield. You can buy it at almost any auto parts store, WalMart, K-Mart, etc.

2006 Dodge Ram 1500 service 4wd light

Erik,
There actually is a sensor for the fluid, so yes. You should check the fluid in the differential. You could try to do this yourself, or you could take it to a shop you trust. Yes, it's also possible that the fluid is low, and when you are stopping or slowing down the sensor isn't picking up the fluid, so then the light comes on to warn you that it's low in fluid. Hope this helps. Please rate my solution, thanks.
