Transmission is ruined but there's a full tank of gas just sitting there. What is the easiest way to get it out? I've tried siphoning but it must block could I remove it somehow or would it be easier to poke the tank?

Turn the key on and listen for the fuel pump to prime, you ran out of gas, if it was weak to begin with that may have finished it.
