I was taking off the water pump and the two bottom bolts the head broke off was still able to get water pump off but cant get the bolt out wont turn camt put new one on till they come out help 2001...

if the bolt is accessible try locking a mole wrench on to it.

spray it with WD 40. tap the broken end with a hammer to break any

corrosion. If broken flush you will need screw extractors and

a fair amount of skill to drill a concentric hole o the broken bolt.

it HAS to be spot on, get skilled help if needed

How do i remove a broken harmonic balancer bolt in my 1999 mitisubisii montero sport

are we talking about one of the small bolts that hold a belt pully onto the balancer? Or the large bolt in the middle that holds the balancer to the crank? Either one will be the same procedure, but if it is a small bolt and proves troublesome to get to, you can always remove the balancer and take it to a machine shop to aide you in the removal. If it is the main bolt in the crank shaft you will have to do it in place.
You will need a good sharp center punch and hammer to ding the exact center of the broken bolt. Then a good drill bit and drill set on slow (you drill too fast and you generate too much heat you just accomplish work hardening the broken bolt and dulling the bit.) anyway, you will also need a bolt extractor. Make sure your drill bit is the right size for the extractor and the extractor is the right size for the bit. Punch the dead center of the bolt and start drilling you will want some high temp oil to lube the bit and keep it cool while drilling, you also need to make sure that you hold the drill at a right angle and keep it straight all of the way in until it is deep enough for the extractor to grab the inside of the hole you have made. Strike the extractor solidly with your hammer to set it and cross fingers that when you try to back the broken bolt out it moves. If this fails you might need to completely drill the hole larger and install an insert, or heli-coil to repair the hole.

My head bolt broke in the cylender block how can u help me to get it out

There are various kits and tools available. The first step is to look up the correct drill-first size for an extractor like this, which is available from an auto store or Home Depot etc

and obtain a left-hand drill bit that size and a drill which will go in reverse to normal. File or grind the top of the broken bolt fairly flat and hit it with a centre punch right in the middle.

Drill a small starter hole in the broken bolt almost to the end (you can gauge how deep from another empty bolt hole) and then with the left hand drill bit, drill it out ready for the extractor. There is a good chance that the cutting force of the left hand drill will back out the broken bolt immediately, if it is not jammed in there.

If needed proceed then to use the extractor. These are widely available

I need to remove a broken bolt from a hatch support so a new one can be installed

The way I've always removed a broken off bolt is with an "EZ-Out" broken screw/bolt extractor:

You drill a hole a little way into the center of the broken off bolt stub (drill size to use is etched on extractor), screw in extractor so it gets a "bite", then wrench out the bolt stub.

Broken antenna

The best way is to use an EZ-out drill bit or extractor tool like Pro Grabit. I have gotten a few out just using small pick tools and gradually turning it as long as it is not cross threaded.

2001 jeep wrangler oil pressure sensor switch broke - cannot get piece out if housing unit - how do i get it out or can i replace the whole housing

Use an extractor designed for removing broken pipe fittings and broken bolts. They're often called bolt extractors and are available from tool merchandisers. Sears probably sells them as well as auto parts stores.

I have a 93 crand caravan the water pump went out and in the process of changing it bolts broke how can i fix it?

If the bolts broke off inside the engine block they must be extracted, buy a easy out set of bolt extractors choose the appropriate size drill to use in relation to the broken bolt to be removed then dril a hole through the old broken off peice remaining inside the bock take the easy out extrctor and push it into the drilled hole then tap it into the hole firmly proceed to tur n the extractor counter clockwise to remove the broken off peice. whatever you do don't use an extractor that is too large it may not work you can always go up on the size later.

I am trying to use a screw extractor to remove a broken spark plug and i have broke 2 sockets already. please help.

Chances are the extractor is too small for the size of the spark plug. The EZOUT or extractor should be large enough to grip both sides of the threaded plug. It's also a good idea to spray WD-40 on and around the broken plug and let it sit for at least 20 minutes to penetrate. Hope this helps with your problem. Best of luck.
