SOURCE: i keep blowing the fuse in my truck that controls

You will have to open the dash and start tracing wires looking for a bare spot. Start with the cig lighter and trace it back to the fuse panel. Then do the domelight. You'll have to remove a corner of the headliner to check it properly. Chances are pretty good that you will find it before you have to tear open the steering column. Hope this helps.

Fuse keeps blowing when I honk the horn. 2011 Mitsubishi Galant SE

Try disconnecting the horn and see if the fuse still blows when you press the horn button. If it does not blow the horn is probably bad. Buy a new horn.

For 2004 ford truck f150 extended cab, I found the horn fuse, where is the horn relay?

disconnect the horn or horns, operate the horn and see if the fuse still blows. if the fuse still blows then there is most likely a short in the wiring. relays rarely cause shorts. if the fuse doesnt blow with the horn disconnected, reconnect the horn and operate the horn again, if the fuse blows you have a shorted horn.

2006 grand prix horn fuse keeps blowing. what should i look for

horn may be shorted internally. Try pulling the connector off the horn, put in a fresh fuse, see if it blows.

If it still blows, you have a short in the wiring or the relay. If there is no obvious short in the wiring, change the relay.

If the fuse doesn't blow with the horn disconnected, replace the horn.

The fuse for the horn keeps blowing. Any reason

Most common problem is the ground that the horn connects to wit the bolt is rusted and causes it to pull to much amperage so clean the contact first then if it still blows the fuse then the horn relay or the horn may be going bad.over time the horn gets junk in it and causes the coil to overheat and causes it to burn out. Horns cost $15.00 for a new horn and are easy to change. I doubt the relay is bad but it is always possible.
