Try giving it a shot of starting fluid. You don't say if it's actually firing. If it tries or runs for a few seconds off of the starting fluid then try changing the fuel pump relay. It's inside of the glove box on the left hand side behind the little door. If that doesn't work it's most likely the fuel pump.
check for fuel and fire is it getting fuel to injectors up front are the plugs fireing if vehicle starts some times is it correct fuel to injectors do you have a bad plug or plug wire is your fuel filter dirty
before u change anything else,,,,put a scanner on it ,,snap on,, mac ,,metco,,& while cranking it reed the variables in each , to even see if their work in ,,or get a spark tester,,their cheep,,plug it in,,turn motor over,,if no spark,,could be pickup coil,,cam,,or crank censer,,hoped it helped
CHECK BATTERY VOLTAGE FIRST IT SHOULD BE 12.5 VOLTS.IF NOT REPLACE BATTERY HAVE ALTERNATOR CHECKED.IF BATTERY GOOD.HAVE VECHICLE SCAN FOR PCM PROBLEMS - CRANKSHAFT SENSOR PROBLEMS OR CAMSHAFT SENSOR PROBLEMS.IF ALL IS GOOD GET A SPARK TESTER AND FUEL PUMP PRESSURE GAUGE TESTER.IF GETTING NO SPARK PROBLEM COULD BE LOOSE BAT.POWER SUPPLY WIRES AT IGNITION COIL MODULE OR IGNITION MODULE FAULTY.IF FUEL PUMP NOT RUNNING CHECK FUSE ABD RELAY IF BOTH IS GOOD FUEL PUMP FAULTY.
Yes, but there are at least a dozen other things that could also cause it. Fuel pump, ignition module, distributor cap, rotor, coil, fuel injector, fuel filter, blown fuses, broken wire or loose wires, etc.
You may have a bad or weak fuel pump, Try spraying Carb cleaner down the throttle body and see if the engine starts, if it does. You could have a dirty fuel filter that will need to be replaced, or a faulty Fuel pump "sending unit" Before you go off replacing the fuel pump, check all the fuses in the fuse panel at the end of the dash, drivers side. The check the ground wire to the fuel pump on the frame, a bad ground will cause a weak fuel pump. Then check your fuel pressure at the shredder valve, you should have 62-65 PSI with the fuel pump energized "engine not running", anything less then 62PSI the injectors will not work. If your fuel system is running 100% and there is 62PSI at the shredder valve, move on to checking the ICM "Ignition Control Module"/ When the ICM goes bad you'll not get any power to the spark plugs and check also the connection to the coil to make sure it's working also. Good luck and keep me posted.
Find the pressure test port (looks like a tire valve) on the fuel distribution rail over the injectors and place a can over the open end of the valve. Press the inner pin to release fuel into the can. If the pressure seems to fall rapidly, replace the fuel filter. Is the check engine light on? Rent a scanner, read any code(s), and pursue to repair(s). A bad crankshaft sensor or camshaft sensor can prevent the injectors from firing fuel into the engine.
Make sure that your fuel presure is up to at least 60 psi if not that could be your problem. If not, make sure you are getting spark, if not could be your Crank sensor or ingniton module ECM. Usually if your Engine control module wouldn't be bad because of your fuel pump is working, but may not be putting out the proper pressure for the fuel system. Fuel Pumps are a Problem with that year..
