Replacing a fuse for my wipers. Which fuse goes to the wipers. I don't have a manual

If you don't know what fuse it is how do you know it's dead ? Maybe ,more then likely the wiper motor is bad ! Myself , I would check power at the wiper motor > Find a wiring diagram at to see what wire is the power wire . Because if the fuse were blown it would be because of a short circuit on that wire or the motor itself ! A 2001 dodge , I would suspect the wiper motor being bad .

Why is 01 4runner rear wiper inop?

Do you not realize that any vehicle problem has to be
diagnosed ,after you look at wiring diagrams & the required
info, so you first learn the system, then component test to
actually find a problem?

Maybe the motor failed
Maybe water got into the motor
Maybe you have a wiring problem

It's almost a shame this site can not really educate people,
because I fail to see how we can help,no one is going to
work on a vehicle anyway

You think there were only four parts to every vehicle,
from the questions & we should pick one & no one would
have a shop fix that part

Windshield wipers turn on when i turn my lights on

these are 2 differant circuits, look @ wire diagram, this is very odd, unless these 2 circuits are touching each other, can you turn your headlights on with wiper switch ? probably not ! had to ask ! there may be a power wire from headlight touching power wire from wiper ! trace these wires from each switch, see what you find , maybe just from separating these wires solves your problem !!! good like

Windscreen wipers and washers need diagram 1992 t4 vw camper van

Nobody is going to give you an exact wire trace here, I can bet my bottom dollar on it. You will need to painstakingly trace your wiring from the wiper switch on the steering column to the relay and then to the fuse box, then to the wiper motor to discover your fault.
Please stay in touch.

I have a 1999 explorer sport that the rear wiper does not work. I have already replaced the wiper assembly, checked the fuse under the hood, switched the wiper relay with another known to be good and tested...

Before replacing GEM modules test the electrical circuits ,don't guess . And if you don't know how to test your best bet take it to a qualified repair shop . These modules are capable of setting DTC'S diagnostic trouble codes , need an advanced type scan tool . Not a code reader . How did your test the switch ? Low voltage input to the gem . Plus there are two relays for the rear wipers . Did you pull the relays an test (with a voltmeter ) for B+ voltage on the control side and load side of the relay ? Is the GEM energizing the relay .
You people crack me up ,you have no clue .

switched the wiper relay with another known to be good and tested the wiper switch all are good,
