Question about 2005 Nissan Frontier
I'm going to recommend locating the mass airflow sensor. Check the rubber hosing that connects it all together. If there is air going in that the mass airflow sensor doesent read, then the exhaust will show it at the oxygen sensors. The PCM will likely try to compensate for the lean condition by throwing ridiculous amounts of fuel at the mixture but without the Mass airflow sensor, it won't know how much is actually needed. Also check for anything that may connect to the rubber hosing, like elbows, or tubes, or even sensors that fell out. If there is an airleak AFTER the mass airflow sensor, you have air going in that the car cannot read and adjust for.
Please post results.

Sounds like you may have a plugged catalytic converter. Find a shop that can check backpressure in the exhaust. They will have a tool that threads into the O2 sensor bung. They will use a vacuum/pressure gauge to see ho much back pressure there is in the exhaust. Anything more than a couple of PSI and there is a restriction.

SOURCE: poor fuel milage
Check your ECM codes. A code P0328 means your knock sensor has stored a code. Apparently when this code is stored it does not change much on a non-supercharged 3.3L engine but does on a supercharged one.
I'm going to try using the recommended higher octane in my 2003 supercharged 3.3L Frontier and see if the code disappears. If not, I plan to relocate the knock sensor to a more wrench-friendly area.
