2011 F250 6.2L Gas resonator rattling

I have a 2011 F250 with the 6.2L Gas Engine. At approx. 700 RPM's I'm gettng a harmonic transfer from the resonator to the floorboard that rattles the vehicle. The vehicle is still under factory warranty and Ford is telling me that they can't do anything to fix it. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the timing belt tensioner. I have that problem. Rattles at low rpm, goes away as you acceralerate. Looking to have timing belts changed and tensioners replaced.

SOURCE: 2001 ford Explorer - engine rattling - is that timing belt/chain

What engine is this? if it is the 4.0L then talk to the dealer there is a recall on the camshaft drive chain hydraulic tensors, these will cause a rattle noise.

SOURCE: rattle under the front end?

The rattle may be stabilizer link rod bushings or a strut mount loosening up as for the engine light you must hook up a code reader to determine the problem otherwise you may be replacing parts blindly.

2015 vwcc 2.0 tsi dsg r line resonance noise at 2000rpm stationary and when driven any ideas ? Dealer can hear but after 3 visits last one 2 weeks still cant find whats causing it.

resonance at rpm when stationary can only come from those parts rotating
That limits the noise source down to the engine and transmission
Starting with the engine , the most obvious noise sources are the idler pulley bearings , water pump bearings , power steering pump, ac compressor pulley bearings (compressor if activated), drive belt-loose or failing and harmonic balancer rubber failing
There may be a noise source from a worn/loose timing chain and that noise will be as a harmonic rattle
moving on to the transmission
If manual , bearing noise can be determined by the application of the clutch
Throw out bearing noise will stop or get worse with the clutch depressed and gear /bearing noise will stop with the clutch depressed
Probably not a lot of help as the description of resonance is wide open to harmonic--rattle , whirring, hum or even loose material in the exhaust system such as failed cat converter moving around

I have just purchased a 1998 malabu with a 3.1 engine. It has a rattle when cold. Any ideas? I've been told not to worry.

IAC (IDLE AIR CONTROL) should be replaced. You will be amazed at the difference when you change it.

When car is in park or when your stopped it rattles. But when it's put in neutral the rattle stops.

Check the tachometer while changing from from neutral to drive; you should see a change in the RPMs. Rattles have a resonant frequency and the minor change in engine speed may be causing it to reach resonance, making the rattle more apparent.

Rattling noise when applying gas, sometimes when idling in park.Maybe muffler/drivetrain vibrations No noise cruising

You just might not hear the noise when it is at speed or the engine vibrations are not at the right frequency to cause the resonance.
I'd check the heat shield around the catalytic convertor; they are notorious for doing this and we have one rattling currently too!
