The blower motor resistor is the component directly responsible for controlling the blower motor fan speed. If the resistor shorts or fails, it may cause the blower motor to remain stuck on one fan speed.
What fan ? radiator cooling fans or heater / AC blower fan . Radiator cooling fans or controlled by the PCM - engine computer . The PCM energizes a relay sending battery power to the cooling fans , the PCM does this by seeing the engine is getting to hot from a ECT sensor . coolant temp sensor . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.
A/c compressor works fine and the blower motor works and shutdown right? it is the problem with the blower resistor or with blower motor relay. try to direct the resistor irrespective of the speed. hope the problem may be solved.
