It sounds like something has come loose and is hanging under the truck. Look for loose or bent parts undernieth.

2003 Chevy Silverado is making a clunking noise, on and off sometime over bumps. Also a deep grinding type noise in the same location while driving not constant

Hello Karla,

It sounds like you may have a bearing or CV joint going out. Your vehicle will need to be jacked up and inspected. It may be more than one problem too. Its possible the dragging noise could be something between brake pads and rotor, but the grinding that comes and goes in reference to direction sounds like a bearing or joint. I would take it to a professional right away and ask for an estimate only, and then get other estimates from other shops as well. Good luck to you.

Rotational grinding noise from front driver side (90' toyota pickup V6 automatic). grinds all the time when i get moving, sill stop for a second if i hit a bump, then start doing it again. ive alr

This sounds like the cover plate that's mounted on the side of the disk unit. It's normally fastened with two or three bolts and they do come loose at times. Could also be the actual disk pads that have worn down to metal, which will move away from the disk for a few seconds after hitting a bump.If so, make sure that your disks are not scoured as a result of metal on metal contact, whereby you would have to fit a new disk with the new pads.Check it out. Good luck.

What's your problem?rumbling sound coming from the rear rightside every time I go over a bump or unsmooth tarmac

Look at the rear suspension. I think it is one leaf spring upside down over top of the axel. At the ends they are grinding in there seats. Jack the vehicle up by the body clean out the spring seats and oil them a little its just showing its age.

Grinding noise in the front left tire area, not all the time , but when going slow over a bump or turning left, or sometimes aplying the brakes

Sounds like brake pads are worn out. If not there is possibly a CV joint going bad. Autozone sells package drive shafts with CVs included for not much money. They sell brake pads there too, but if it is grinding you will need to get a brake rotor as well. I seriously recommend parking the car until you get that fixed.
