Question about 1999 Ford Expedition
Car started yesterday but seems to not get power to starter today starter wont tun over
Could be the key switch, or the neutral safety switch.
Try cranking it in neutral.
You may have to trace the circuit from the key switch to the starter to find the problem. Also the ground connections between the engine and battery.

SOURCE: 97 lincoln wont start
usually if you have power it may be a fuel problem, when you turn your key to the on position you should hear your fuel pump come on, if not it could be the fuel pump relay under the hood or a possible bad fuel pump or bad connection on the fuel pump. hope this helps.

SOURCE: I have a 2007 Ford
The solenoid or starter relay could be defective, this is located on the passenger fender. Also, the ignition switch could be faulty.
Other possibility is the Neutral Safety Switch (Automatic Transmissions) or the Clutch depressed switch are disconnected, or broken.
On vehicles with EEC-IV there can be a problem with the PCM module, remote but possible; usually this device is located under the glove box and behind the right kick panel.
Are you check the fuel system (fuel presure, fuel filter clean, etc. etc.).
Keep us updated.

SOURCE: acts like battery is dead
If you replaced just the cables to the starter, then check the ground cable and make sure it is secured. If it is , loosen it and tighten it back down. Corrosion can and will cause this. let me know
