it depends on the model but usually yes there is. be careful to use a quality screwdriver for they strip easy and you will play hell trying to drill them out around a suspected fuel leak. be safe.

Need vacuum diagram for 350 with rochester 4 barrel not fuel injected high altitude electronic ign.

You may need to advance your timeing by 1 or 2 decrees. But first get you a spray bottle with soapy water. If it will crank spray around the carb base and intake. If you have a vacum leak. Your engine will lug down. Showing where the vacum leak is. If that's not it. Your air and fuel screws on the carb. You screw them all the way in. Then out a quater turn at a time. Open your rear flap so all 4 are drawing air at the same time. And a just it for. There.

I have a Lexmoto Adrenaline 125EFI. It will start ok but revs go up to 4k and wont drop down

I'm assuming that this is a gas engine? If so, get a can of carburetor cleaner spray, remove the air cleaner and start it up. When it revs, spray the carb. spray AT THE BASE of the carb and, if it has a separate intake manifold, spray at the connection to the engine. If either slows it down, you have either a loose or warped part like the carb base plate or gasket surface of the intake manifold, a gasket leak or a cracked part whether it be the base plate of the carb. of the intake manifold if present.. Good luck.

ENGINE RPM PROBLEN

You may have a vacuum leak causing unmetered air to enter the engine. Check all vacuum lines/hoses for disconnection issues and for being soft/collapsing. If the leak is large you may hear a hissing noise coming from the area. If the throttle plate is very dirty it can affect base idle and cause the IAC to "hunt" for an idle thus raising and lowering rpm. You can try cleaning this plate with carb spray.

I need a diagram of fast idle link assembly on weber 34DGEC carb

Tammy , weber has the pages to fix webers, why not read there.
its all there. for custom carbs,
fixing cars is a labor of love, if not, dont buy custom cars.
and for sure webers.
TAKE Photos of your work, its free now , no Kodachrome.
the car came with Autolite/motorcraft, carter or Rodcheter carb.
not webers.

idle, all carbs you can set the idle to zero. with the fly plate closed
and the engine stalls.
so does your butterfly plate close.

IDLE DOWN, HOT or cold engine,? is the choke OFF?
if the choke is off you can starve it of all air. at the stop screw.
if not, then the throttle cable is tight,
or you have air leaks in the plenum somewhere.
but air leaks cause lean, but with a bad tuned rich weber, it will race with air leaks, bingo???? im a carb o holic. retire.

Corvette problems

Two things come to mind,on your holley did you put fenalic spacer plate between the carb and the intake manifold? OK maybe i shouldn't have used the term fenalic but I mean a spacer or adapter plate between the carb and intake manifold. Any ways I've found that a lot of times the gaskets that goes under the adapter plate and the intake manifold leak and you will have a severe vacuum leak. There's a couple of easy ways to check. Just feel under the edge of the plate and see if you can feel a leak or you can use some starting fluid and with car running of course for this and the first test anyways with the car running spray around the carb and intake manifold and if the engine speeds up or just smoothes out then you have a leak. Or with the 650 cfm double pumper does it have a manual or electric choke. Because either way your choke may need to be adj

Let me explain again, I have a 1988 honda prelude with a carburator and its leaking from some where around the carb. also the idle on the car is not proper. I've put new fuel pump, new filters, new...

some of your new parts might be manufacture defected because the manufacture does not test every part coming from the lines. ANother thing have you checked the timing out with a timing gun to see if the timing is ok ? ANother also did you replace the new dist. cap and button in the right place of the old one was at ? Sometimes when you change some things with your car that you also have to check for timing issues because where and how you put the dist. cap and button at if not the way of the old one was. It could be off alittle bit to make this happen.

I think I have an air leak between my carb and manifold 2.3 engine is this a common problem Can the mounting plate be wrarped ?

no, this would not be very common on the 2.3L, but what we did see allot on these models was a vacuum leak around the throttle shaft and that would make you think it was a base plate, that is not to say that the base is not leaking the only thing to do is remove the carburetor and have a look.
