Question about 2005 GMC Envoy
Sometimes it works fine, but only has 63000 miles on it. are there any recalls on this? seems like a common problem for gm.
The stepper motor needs to be replaced on the instrument cluster. It is a simple procedure to fix. Just need to have some knowledge with Soldering Irons. Anyway, the part itself costs 10$ and easily found on ebay. Here is a website on the step by step procedure http://forums.trailvoy.com/showthread.php?t=48886
