Coolant flows through the thermostat (located in the engine block), Through to lower radiatior hose and continues to flow through the radiator, upper RAD hose, and back to engine....the cycle repeats.
I hope I was able to help you out.

I'm not losing any antifreeze so why does my oil have a little milky color to it in a 2.2l 2001 chevy s-10

You may be pumping oil into the cooling system. Oil pressure is higher than cooling system pressure so it is possible that flow is into the cooling system or you are loosing coolant but it is being displaced by oil so it always looks full. Get a professional to check for a bad headgasket.

How do you get air out of cooling system in a 2007 chevy uplander

If the system is not cooling, but the fan is blowing, you need to recharge the system and check the compressor. If the system is on but no air is flowing, check the blower resistor.

2002 toyota celica heater does not work

The thermostat should only restrict flow to the radiator.
If the heater system is working correctly, you should get flow from one of the heater hoses at all times.
Its possible you have air in the cooling system.

I have a 2003 chevy Imapla 3.4 enegine and i have had overheating problems. i have had the water pump, head gasket, front and back head gaskets, intake manifold. and it still wants to over heat what else...

Is the radiator clean and flowing coolant? is the heater core clean and flowing coolant? are the cooling fans operating? When fans are on, and the engine is hot, the air coming from the fans should be HOT.If its not HOT the radiator could be plugged. Are you sure there is no combustion gases in the cooling system? air has been bled out of cooling system?

Heat does not seem to get real warm, could there be a flow restriction some where

Could be the thermostat not opening and closing properly. It could also be a flow problem in the heater core. The Dexcool antifreeze that GM uses in their vehicles can cause a gummy sludge to form in the cooling system, which can cause flow restrictions and overheating. I would suggest changing the thermostat and flushing the cooling system. Use an approved antifreeze other than Dexcool to refill the cooling system to avoid future problems.

My overflow reservoir bursts on my 2002 Chevy Malibu

yes it could be and it is.
combustion pressure is getting in to the cooling chamber and pressure from that is bursting the over flow bottle.that is the only thing that can be putting that kind of pressure into the system.
