It means you have a vacuum leak that bleeds off vacuum after shut down or your check valve in the large vacuum hose going to the brake booster is bad. Replace the check valve first

It is underneath the car on the drivers side in the frame rail near the fuel tank.

Removal of rear brake drum 2002 ford escape


make sure handbrake is off take wheel off hit the drum with a mallet not steel,as it will brake,hit on outter diametter face of drum, try and rotate as you twist off
