Question about Toyota Camry
According to one of my mate's suggestions, I disconnected the battery in 1994 toyota camry before I go on holiday for 2 months. When I returned from holiday, the battery is fine but cassette did not work. On the display screen, the only thing that I can see is "SEC". I don't have any clue how to make it work. Any suggestions would be a great help. Tim
When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Toyota service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

You can try any Circuit City or any car stereo place or you can wire it yourself you just have to figure out which wire is power, ground, front and rear speakers. Yeah the hornance makes it easier but it can be done without it

call the dealer with your VIN number, they will call the manufacturer and call you back with the code, alternatively, look in your owners manual in the front and rear page, some times dealers write them in there, also look in the radio pages they may have written there as well. Good luck
