it sounds like your ignition switch could be bad, it is mounted on the steering column under the dash, it is the actual switch that activates the ignition and starter when you turn your key. if it is going bad it will give the same symptoms that you have described.

if you have a standard transmission,check the switch on the clutch pedal,if you have an automatic trans,check the purple wire on the solenoid while a friend tries to start it to see if the power is getting to the starter,if it is replace the starter,if not check the starter relay first,then the neutral starting switch.

Your key program has been reset, the dealership can reprogram your key. You can also try to unlock the door with your key when the anti theft light kicks on, try the power locks as well. You can also save money by calling a automotive locksmith, its cheaper than the dealer. Hope this helped =)
