Slight missfire at high rpms

I have a 2003 buick lesabre and it's mishitting at high rpms. I changed the coils and the problem still there. I am thinking of having the feul filter changed and the plugs and wires have about 20000 miles on them. What do you think? Should I put new plugs and wires on even though they aren't that old?

You should take out the spark plugs and inspect to c their copndition, and then allow them to fire outside of the cylinder to also verify the condition of the firing. But make sure to clean the plugs and re-gap them.

Shakes while in overdrive but i dont think its in trannsmission what else could it be?

Most likely is an engine miss. This is something I see all the time. It is usually caused by a breakdown in the ignition system and or a lean feul condition. You notice it more in overdrive because of the low rpms and engine load.If it is a gas engine you most likely have a bad coil or even a clogged feul filter. If it is diesel engine could be feul injector or feul pressure problem.

Took a 2003 Buick Lesabre in for transmission fluid change. It appears that they changed the filter, drained the pan, replaced and filled with 14 quarts of Dextron III fluid. Car drives rough with...

14 quarts sounds like a lot! If it is not far, take it back immediately and have it fixed by them at no charge. If it is far, check the level again and if it is in fact as high as you say, call them and have them tow it to their shop for repairs. Do not drive this car otherwise, you will whip the fluid into foam and it will spill out of the filler tube and potentially cause a fire. Document, document, document this case.

At mid to high rpms the accel shuts off and car slows

change the fuel filter first then if that dont fix it then it's the fuel pump breaking down

1995 buick lesabre shuts off while driving, engine runs smooth and then shuts off,,it restarts without a problem,,,,what could be causing this. i have checked my battery connections and they are fine.

Plugged fuel filter. There are two - one in the tank and one in the fuel line. Probably the one in the fuel line so change that one first.

97 buick lesabre that when you start it it puts for a few seconds tnen takes off like normal it also has a little lope at idle just a few hundred rpms is it thefuel pump or not

it could be a plugged fuel filter so try some STP gas treatment and if the condition gets better with that then change the fuel filter
