This is Totally Common when the Plug Wire Boots have Not been Lubricated Before Installation. Get a Pair of Pliers and Move Back and Forth While Pulling and they will Come off. It will not be Easy, Even if the are the Factory Wires. Make Sure and Use the Lube that they come with on the Next Install. Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help That I can Get! Thanks!

2002 chevy trailblazer check engine light went on, took it to autozone they said it was a misfire in cylinder number 3, and that I needed to replace sparkplugs and wires. could this be the problem?"

Yes it could but without further diagnosis it's difficult to be sure. Manufacturers suggest platunum spark plugs be replaced after 100,000 miles. If your close to this it would be a good idea to change them anyway. While spark plug wires can fail they don't normally wear out like spark plugs. They can very easily be checked with an ohm meter. I wouldn't replace them unless I found a problem with one or more of them.

Truck misses after it is warmed up.

Start with a tune up, spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, air filter and that might cure the PO300B code, hope this helps, Gary

I had to buy a cylinoid? for the transmission in my 2002 chevy silverado. it's the 1-2 switch. i need to know how to plug it up.

It's inside the transmission under the filter pan. You can just buy a trans filter kit and get the gasket and do the filter at the same time. After removeing the pan and filter you will see the solenoid. There will be a plug with 2 wires going to it. Unplug the wire and then just pull the silenoin straight down. It just pops in and out. make sure you put a little trans fluid on the rubber O-ring on the new solenoid before you push it back in. Also make sure you push it all the way back in or the trans won't shift right.

95 Chevy Silverado.

To bypass the other switches, run a wire from the battery to the starter bendix and if it cranks then the problem is in the wiring or the switches you mention.
