SOURCE: lossing a lot of gas,tune up done,is there a fuel reset button,if so,where

pass. front kickplate, but it does not reset anything- the only time you need to push it is when the vehicle won't start at all. has nothing to do with the amount of fuel used. you could check the fuel pressure regulator, hows it running?

ignition problems start with a new cranksensor if it has tbs or multiport ... if it has a distribitor change the pickup coil or ingition control module

The switch is below the glove box. There is a button on the top of the switch. Push the button to reset the switch. This information is also available in the 'Driving' section of your owners manual.

I replaced fuel pump on 96 ford explorer now fuel pump wont turn on is there a relay or reset switch


There is a fuel pump cutoff reset button (and a relay) it is located under the instrument panel at the right (passenger) hand cowl side "kick" side panel, press the button and when you hear a click it is reset.

The Inertia fuel shutoff switch (IFS switch) is in the top right corner of the passengers side carpet. It is below the dash but above the carpet in the right hand corner. The Inertia fuel shutoff switch (IFS switch) is number 1 in the following diagram, and the button to reset is on top of the switch:

Resetting fuel inertia switch on ford explorer


The fuel pump inertia switch for a 2001 Ford Explorer is in the
right front passenger footwell by the kick panel. It is usually black with a reset button on top.

I have a 1997 Ford Explorer that will turn over but will not start. I reset the fuel pump switch, but that did't help, any suggestions.
