Question about 2000 Buick LeSabre
A few months ago my front passenger door stopped opening from the outside. I could still open it from the inside. Now the driver's side door is doing the same thing.
The car doors automatically lock when the car begins to move. Now I cannot get into the car at all, since I did not unlock all the doors when I parked it after the last time it was driven.
Question 1: How to unlock the doors so they can be opened and worked on?
Question 2: How to Fix the doors not able to be opened from the outside so they will open from the outside?
If you got acess to a sim jim you can get them open with that, but if you don't know how to use one it best to get someone who does. i know if you call the police they will come out and unlock it for you. if they won't than most body shops have one, and they can open it for you, most likely at a cost, where the police will do it for nothing. as far as fixing once you get them open, most all major auto parts stores have web sites with step by step instructions and exploded views.
