The main fuse on the JCB 8014 mini digger is typically located near the battery or the starter motor. Here are some steps you can take to locate the main fuse:
Locate the battery: The main fuse is usually located near the battery or the starter motor. Locate the battery and follow the cables that are connected to it.
Follow the cables: Trace the cables that are connected to the battery and look for a fuse holder along the way. The fuse holder should be a small plastic box with a lid that can be opened.
Check the manual: If you have the owner's manual for the JCB 8014 mini digger, check the fuse diagrams to see where the main fuse is located.
Check the fuse box: The main fuse may be located in the fuse box under the hood or in the cab. Check the fuse box for a large fuse that is rated at 60 amps.
Consult a technician: If you are unable to locate the main fuse, it is best to consult a qualified technician who can help you locate and replace the fuse.
Once you have located the main fuse, check it for signs of damage or burn marks. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new one of the same amperage rating. If the fuse is not the issue, there may be a problem with the wiring or the electrical components of the mini digger, which may require further diagnosis and repair by a qualified technician.
Main fuse has blown can be in the engine fuse box or on the main red wire from the battery, there will be heat shrink over the fuse on the main line. sometimes 2 one for the main and other for the alternator.
All of the large fuses are located under the hood in the main fuse and relay center. I am not sure there is a fuse called the "Main" fuse. Please refer to the owner's manual on this.
There would be something like a main fuse link, or on newer trucks some large fuses under the hood- one or two would supply power to the ignition switch. But a main fuse link would pretty much supply power to everything. If it went out, you would have no electrical power anywhere. Before the use of large maxi fuses, many vehicles had numerous fusible links, one for lights, one for ignition switch, one for AC or cooling fans, and so on.
Follow all the wires or cables from the positive battery post. A main fuse link would be on a pigtail from the main cable.
it's called the tcm located in the main fuse panel under the hood in the main fuse box. you have several 'main' fuses located in the main fuse and relay box. look on the drivers side fender well under the hood. lift the black box lid off and it will reveal the main relays and fuses you seek. thank you for choosing fixya.com! i look forward to assisting you in the future!
I believe you have a ground short in the main fuse wiring or at the main fuse location itself. Try locating it and as the suggested Tech from Firestone advised , replace the main fuse. frank
