My engine cuts out while driving?

the IMMO lamp dont lie, why not watch it. , yous said think but dont know your dash lights?
why not read the operators guide on that lamp.
it does talk, it does blink, each has meaning. (off , on , blink)
i dont have toy opr guides, seems they are hard to find.
my searching shows IMMO started in 1999 (USA)
or 1998 in Germany so what car do you have , uSA car. we dont know

engine stalls, if it does it after 3 second running
its not IMMO, its one of 4 major system failures.
or stuck open EGR valve.

1: lost DC power to EFI

2: lost compression x4 or x6 as case may apply.
3: lost spark
4: bad fueling
there are tests for each path using simple cheap tools.
got tools,

dose CHECK engine light come on driving?
if yes, why not scan it.

Gear light in Drive started to blink while was driving

This light is warning you that a fault has been detected in the electronically controlled transmission by the Transmission control module. You must get the system scanned for the fault code that was set in the modules memory when the light was turned on.

1986 Corolla GT-S Fuel Injectors Not Firing

Here's how to check the injector circuit.
Pull off one injector connector and with a testlight grounded on the engine, turn key to on. Probe the terminals of the injector connector. One of the terminals should have steady power from the ignition being on. If neither terminal turns on the testlight, the injector drive circuit is not working. There may be a fuse for the injectors out. Also check the efi fuse, located I think under the hood. If still no good, you will have to check the circuit from the ignition switch to the injectors.
If you got a steady light from one terminal, the drive circuit is good. Now check the ground circuit: Put the lead of the testlight on the positive battery post, and put the probe of the testlight into the injector terminal that did not light up.Someone will have to crank the car over for you. If the testlight is blinking when the car is being cranked, the injector circuit is working right. The blinking light means the computer is properly grounding the injector circuit to fire the injectors. The ground circuit leads direcdtly from the injectors to the computer. When the computer internally grounds that injector, the injector will pulse, or fire. Good luck, and I hope you find the problem.

Engine light is on, flashes when driving above 100 Km

stop by local parts store (Autozone,Advance, etc) and have them do a free fault code test. They can print out a list of faults and clear the codes
