Do you have check engine light on???if so scan it OBD 2 yue$$ding isn't the way to go,if you don't have a check engine light on then perhaps coil pack!!! coils do run intermittent some times! and not trip the eng light on !!!!this would be a great place to start.Hope this helps

Warm up engine, jack up car, use jack stands, get pan to catch used oil, craw under remove drain plug from oil pan let drain, take filter wrench loosen oil filter, screw off, clean off mating surface put layer of new oil on gasget of new filter and spin on hand tighten only, put drain plug back in and tighten, fill engine with new oil, start up and chk. for leaks and level on dip stick and your done.

It won't hurt to drive it other than it looks a little unsightly. In terms of repairs I think a can of contact cement from the auto parts store should do the trick, make sure you read the label and it is compatable for the job. Hope this helps.
