When i`m starting my mr2 sc 88 it`s like if it missing fire or gas. And it`s always when it`s cold. It`s poppopoping than finaly the gas arrive and it`s o.k.

have you checked the engine coolant temp sensor to make sure it is working right? the sensor controls fuel to the injectors until closed loop has been reached then the o2 sensor takes over fuel control.

This sounds like a weak clutch pressure plate. To cure this fault you will need to have the clutch replaced. Hope this helps...

I changed my mr2 distributor and the engine is not working properly the engine is not on time.

The firing order may not have been restored to its correct setting when the distributor was installed. Also check for loose connection and moisture in the distributor. Check if you have missed out your crank position sensor which tells the computer the revolution.

Oil leak

Pull the distributor out & examine the o-ring that is at the base of the dist where it slides into the cyl head. If the o-ring is compromised, oil will leak there.

Are you sure its no spark? It could also be a bad fuel pump... have you done a check for spark? If you pull one of the plugs out and lay it on the engine block and turn the car over a few times you don't see spark, or it just doesn't fire when it cranks?

I suggest you perform this test. If you see spark I can almost guarnatee that its a fuel pump issue.

Try this test if the one above passes. Pull off the intake hose (big thick hose attached to the throttle body) and spray in some starting fluid. If it cranks and tries to run but then dies, that suggests that there is no fuel getting to the motor which is usually a bad fuel pump as relays and fuses usually don't burn out on their own. These two tests should narrow it down pretty significantly. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Timing belt broke

No, you can do it in the car, it just makes it a lot easier to do if you drop the motor out.
Space is at a premium in the motor bay, so you have to go through some pretty tight gymnastics if you do leave it in there.
