Question about 1996 Dodge Caravan

What size of bolts hold on the engine mounts

I am missing the bold to the engine mount. It is like the engine is just floating. What size bolts do I need. I do't want to go buy a whole bunch of different ones.

First of all I decided I didn't want to have to pay and secondly, your answer is very rude! I work on cars alot! I just wanted to know if there was a way to find out what size the bolts were suppose to be as I did not want to buy a whole bunch of bolts and just keep trying them. BUT YOU ARE VERY RUDE WITH YOUR ANSWER! IMPLYING THAT I CAN NOT WORK ON CARS IF I CAN NOT CONVERT BOLTS FROM METRIC . 25 years ago I put myself thru college working at a mechanic shop. And YES, I AM FEMALE SO I AM VERY HIGHLY INSULTED

I told you to remove one of the other mount bolts & measure it or use it for a sample Stupid is buying a bunch of bolts as you were going to do Don't know why women have all those issues & have to mention it. Doesn't matter to me & I don't any idea who asks the questions

Take out one of the other mount bolts for a sample

You don't know how to measure bolt threads & convert
to metric if necessary?

That is a must if your going to work on any vehicle from
1980 on

Size of motor mount bolt for 2001 buick lesabre, motor mount is is good condition, however, it is missing the bolt that it is supposed to have therefore causing everything to move excessively

Don't know, but suggest you just get one from a salvage yard. A lot of GM cars would have the same mount, especially with the same engine.

My car runs really bad when it is wet or raining and it said the 5th cylider is miss firing. I replaced it and now it runs worse. The steering wheel shakes when it is idling

the steering wheel shaking at an idle is a whole seperate thing. if it shakes while idling i would say its a bad motor mount (or mounts)
If the rubber breaks or wears out in the center of the mount that the engine bracket bolts to, then the center of it lays closer to the metal outer shell of the mount from the weight of the engine. The outer shell is bolted directly to the frame so it resonates vibration through the frame and body instead of 'floating' in the center of a rubber cushion.
Once your accelerating the engine rotates up in the mount lifting the center off of the shell so the vibration goes away.

Center main mototr mount bolt is missing, need size of bolt so I can replace it myself.

More than likely the mount is bad and you will have to buy the bolt from the dealer or a fabricating shop that sells metric bolts, or go to a junk yard to get a replacement for same car. pull the nut off the other side and measure from the top of the bolt to the end of the threads then go buy one at the store using the nut as your size guide and thread pitch and get a grade 8 bolt to replace it with.
